Structure of the Temple

The temple makes use of beam and column structure design.

The whole structure is make by wood and without using a single nail. To connect the vertical main column and horizontal main beams, Mortise-Tenon Joint method is used. We can also see that there is a secondary beam which is shorter and at the above of the main beam.

The shape of the roof is triangle and is flush gable roof design (硬山式). The design of the roof is also symmetry.
